Step 1: Choose the right image<\/span><\/h3>\n

To create a montage, you\u2019d need to first choose the right \u201chero\u201d image, preferably a portrait with the human subject against a plain background. This is to draw attention to your human subject, instead of its surroundings. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step 2: Remove background<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/h3>\n

It\u2019s much easier to remove a plain background compared to a patterned or clustered one using <\/span>Pixlr<\/span><\/a>\u2019s <\/span>Cutout\/Mask<\/span><\/i> tool.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 3: Add a new background<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/h3>\n

Now you might be thinking, \u201c<\/span>Why would I want to remove a background just to add a new one?<\/span><\/i>\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n

Well, that\u2019s because this new background will act as a <\/span>separate layer<\/span><\/i> – it is not<\/span> bound<\/span><\/i> to your foreground\/human subject. You will be able to freely alter\/move the new background without causing any changes to your foreground.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Now, all you have to do is add a new <\/span>empty layer<\/span><\/i> in the <\/span>Layer Bar<\/span><\/i> on your far right.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>Click on your new layer and select <\/span>Gradient<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>You can either choose an existing gradient background from the <\/span>Gradient Library<\/span><\/i> or create your own. Here, we\u2019ve opted for a soft pastel pink gradient to epitomize the dreamy qualities of spring.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 4: Add floral elements<\/span>\"\"<\/a><\/h3>\n

Now that you\u2019ve got your foreground and background in place, it\u2019s time to add floral elements to your composition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Here, we\u2019ve chosen an image of pink peonies against a plain white background, which we\u2019d be removing with <\/span>AI Auto<\/span><\/i> or <\/span>Magic Mask<\/span><\/i>.<\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>After removing the background from the floral image, you can duplicate the image layer and stack them over each other to create a <\/span>collage<\/span><\/i> effect. You can arrange them however you want as long as they fit the composition.<\/span><\/p>\n

Step 5: Add supporting elements<\/span><\/h3>\n

\"\"<\/a>This step is actually optional because it\u2019s entirely up to you whether you want to add supporting elements e.g. some greenery\/plants to your montage. <\/span><\/p>\n

Step 6: Animate the right elements<\/span><\/h3>\n
