How to overlay an image using Pixlr?

Step #1

Visit pixlr.com and select the Pixlr Editor, Pixlr E or Pixlr X, based on what you're trying to achieve. Next, open the image you want to work with by clicking "Open Image" or "File" > "Open."

Add an Overlay Image: move your cursor to click the "Add image" or "Layer" > "Add image" option in the editor. A new window will be opened where you can access your computer or cloud storage to select the image you'd like to overlay.

Once the overlay image is selected, utilise the transformation tools to resize and position the image. Click and drag the corners to adjust the size, and click and drag within the image to locate it to the right spot on the base image.

Adjust the Opacity and Blending Modes: To create a seamless blend between the base and overlay images, adjust the opacity and blending modes. In the Layers panel, select the overlay layer and use the Opacity slider to adjust transparency. Try different blending modes from the drop-down menu to find the best fit.

Save and Export: When you're satisfied with the image overlay, save your creation by clicking "File" > "Save" or "Download." Choose your desired file format, quality, and destination, then click "Save" or "Download" to export your final image with the overlay.
